About the business and challenge
I.Tech Eccleshall is a business based in Stafford Street, Eccleshall, as an IT shop and provides various services. A popular local business, with low social media reach and most customers being very local, I set about increasing the following across Facebook initially, gaining more interaction through promotions and competitions - all during one of the 2020 lockdowns. Growing the platform by hundreds, spreading word about the business which drew attention from both local people and people further afield.
Launching remote services
The launch of a new remote services arm via I.Tech On The Go drew more attention and more enquiries further afield, due to a national promotion campaign. This also coincided with the launch of a new Instagram account that has grown considerably in a short time so, as of October 2022 the Instagram account has almost 400 followers, On The Go has drawn almost 300 followers and the main Facebook page has grown from an initial 49 followers to over 600!!
Tom and I have openly communicated on all matters as we look to take the business further forward. The increase in work has already seen Tom taking on more help lighten his load, so he can focus on core activities - all proving how well collaborative working can benefit business! We also built a new website for the business through our
www.st16websites.co.uk partnership and Tom has benefitted from increased reach and, in turn, business enquiries
