About the business
David Rees is another client I connected with at our Stafford U2B Networking Group. Prior to the 2020 lockdowns, David had a successful photography business and did a lot of studio-based work.
He had also begun looking at creating digital art as part of his DHR Digital business. This proved to be a wisely timed move as, when lockdown restrictions hit, the studio had to close and personal contact was put on hold indefinitely.
My Brief
I was hired as his marketer and we set about increasing following, looking at ways to reach out and interact with more people in a temporarily more virtual world.
A year on and his Facebook following has doubled, his Instagram platform is steadily increasing and client enquiries come from near and far, with the marketing posts reaching national groups and sponsored ads bringing much attention. Add to this, numerous online competitions, and the business now draws attention on a more personal basis, with people sharing pictures of their pets and David responds to nearly everybody who asks specific questions.
We have diversified, collaborated, and built something that will soon be split into a photography platform and an art platform, and re-branded as the service lines outgrow the current platforms.

"Al and I started to work together in the early part of 2020, just before the pandemic restrictions started. We are still working together now.
